Let me engage you even further – Benjamin Moore has released their 2022 color of the year and I am blown away by how beautiful this color is. It reminds me of the Sound side or a cool, Fall morning by the ocean near the Bogue Pier. Below is a little excerpt from the Benjamin Moore site with that beautiful ‘October Mist’ color in the background. I am swooning because it is almost a deeper Sage with a hint of silver.
For your home you could really pull warm or cool tones with this as your back drop. I can see a warm wooden desk in an office with this color, you could pair it with a mango mirror to widen and brighten your space and then maybe a deep velvet chair in the corner. Are you imagining it? We could spark some creativity with some vases and candles or some greenery to make that October Mist color really stand out. Fun end tables would give this space something to really WOW at. Gold end tables perhaps? I can see boho chic pillows on the bed, you could get cream, silver, blue or a pattern for your bedding. If we wanted to match it with cool tones for a cozy bedroom setting – you could set it with white furniture, or a bold credenza used a dresser. As cozy of a bedroom as one may want, there should always be something that really takes your breath away as you enter a space. Most people don’t think of a chandelier in the bedroom, but paired with this Silvery-Green wall color, I think it would really make it pop!
